Improve Invisible Ink Production by the Europium Complexes
نویسندگان
چکیده مقاله:
The invisible inks have many applications, including the use of banknote printing, code load, securitydocuments and much of its application in the exchange of security information. Photoluminescenceproperties of lanthanide compounds that attracted the attention of many scholars in recent decades are one ofthe important factors in drying and fluidity of the ink. The solvent evaporation rate has a special importancein the formulation of resin systems. The solvent evaporation rate is often expressed in compare with astandard solvent evaporation rate, such as normal butylated acetate or ethyl ether. The mixing of somesolvents may be used due to the formation of an azeotrope and the more rate of evaporation. In theformulation of the inks, the use of the weight ratio compared with the volume relationship has thisadvantage, which requires less mathematical calculations and operations, especially that this score is usefulduring the early stages of formulation. In this research, from 160 materials that were used, 11 items played afundamental role, which were selected based on their formulation planned. The purpose of this research wasto produce invisible ink.For this purpose, the relevant complexes were prepared, designed and thecomposition of the percentage of invisible ink was optimized. Eventually, obtainedresults were evaluated.

متن کاملSurface-grafted Europium and Erbium Complexes of the 12-Tungstosilicate Heteropolyoxometalate: A Synthetic and Structural Investigations
The hydrothermal synthesis of two new inorganic-organic hybrid materials in which PDA (PDA = 1,10-phenanthroline-2,9-dicarboxylate) is connected to a well-defined Keggin-type polyoxometalate anion (POM) and a Ln(III) cation (POM = [SiW12O40]4−; Ln = Eu3+ (1), Er3+ (2)), are reported. These hybrids are characterized by elemental analyses, IR spectra and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Single-c...
متن کاملDirect writing on graphene 'paper' by manipulating electrons as 'invisible ink'.
The combination of self-assembly (bottom up) and nano-imprint lithography (top down) is an efficient and effective way to record information at the nanoscale by writing. The use of an electron beam for writing is quite a promising strategy; however, the 'paper' on which to save the information is not yet fully realized. Herein, graphene was selected as the thinnest paper for recording informati...
متن کاملOn-line Ammonia Sensor and Invisible Security Ink by Fluorescent Zwitterionic Spirocyclic Meisenheimer Complex
Ammonia is not only a highly important gas for civilization but also contribute significantly for climate change and human health hazard. Highly sensitive ammonia sensor has been developed from a fluorescent zwitterionic spirocyclic Meisenheimer complex. Moreover, formation of this Meisenheimer complex can also be utilized for selective as well as naked eye instant detection of nitro aromatic e...
متن کاملVery bright europium complexes that stain cellular mitochondria.
The synthesis, structure and photophysical properties of a series of highly emissive europium complexes is reported. Certain complexes enter mammalian cells by macropinocytosis and stain the mitochondria selectively, allowing observation of the Eu emission in cellulo by time-gated spectral imaging.
متن کاملCephalopod Ink: Production, Chemistry, Functions and Applications
One of the most distinctive and defining features of coleoid cephalopods-squid, cuttlefish and octopus-is their inking behavior. Their ink, which is blackened by melanin, but also contains other constituents, has been used by humans in various ways for millennia. This review summarizes our current knowledge of cephalopod ink. Topics include: (1) the production of ink, including the functional o...
